Our business is founded on collecting the right people, information and equipment to create an environment for successful project delivery. This starts long before the project goes to site with integration into the project team as the design phase progresses.
We have significant experience in M&E projects in operational process environments such as distilleries, maltings, aquaculture and process plants. Isolations and permit-to-work systems are our bread and butter. Maintenance shutdowns are a specialty, but we also offer comprehensive support for longer duration CAPEX projects, leveraging our expertise in more traditional construction to become your partner in interfacing between the operational site, project engineers, civils, trades and specialist disciplines.

Health and Safety consultancy
Over the years the business has developed into a multiskilled engineering contracting business, but we still retain our DNA as health and safety experts. We believe that no one should have to spend their health in order to make a living.
We have designed our safety management system from scratch to reflect the unique operational environments that our projects typically take place in. Our system includes a completely self contained Permit to work system covering high risk activities and our site management staff maintain competences in industrial safety such as confined space management, Lock out tag out and hot work supervision.
Site mobilisations
All our site mobilisations include a full set of site safety equipment including lock out equipment, high risk first aid kit and defibrillator.
Commitment to health and safety
Collard & Co have demonstrated our commitment to health and safety excellence by the attainment and maintenance of a ContructionLine Gold accreditation. Individuals maintain memberships of the Institution for Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and other professional bodies.
We take the professionalism of our site set ups incredibly seriously, and have attainment Considerate Construction membership which involves external audit and supervision.
