Our site accommodation puts sustainability and minimisation of Scope 3 emissions at the heart of your project delivery with EPC A-rated office, canteen and toilet modular units. These come with insulation, double glazed windows, thermostatically controlled heating and PIR-controlled LED lighting.
Our digital project attendance monitoring system allows for collection of statistical information including journey distances and travel modes to allow for a collection of data to support Scope 3 emission calculations.
We continue to develop innovative solutions to help our clients measure and monitor the environmental impact of their projects, and to reduce resource use. We’ve developed a partially off-grid site set up which comes with demountable solar panels to generate its own power.
The Dava Hub site management system can data log power and water use of the site accommodation set up to provide the client with accurate data on the resources used during the construction phase of the project.
Collard & Co have a commitment to decarbonising our road transport having commenced an investment in electrification of our fleet. Having been early adopters of EVs the business has embedded EV use with the Director alone having covered nearly 100,000 miles of incident-free electric driving across rural Scotland.
With EVs sensibly representing a growing proportion of company cars, Collard & Co can support the project enabling others to make the transition by providing EV charging on site at rate and number of connectors appropriate to the project.
