Collard & Co were contracted as Principal Contractor for a plant shutdown to replace 15 condensors and various other pieces of plant equipment at a large distillery and maltings complex.
The project was completed on a condensed program to meet production demands and involved the safe supervision and co-ordination of over 3000 contractor hours per week. The work included a significant amount of complex work requiring close management of high-risk works such as complex lifting operations, plant isolations and multi-stakeholder simultaneous operations.

The project was completed without accident or incident and won widespread recognition and compliments from the Client’s operational team, project staff and safety department, resulting in a follow-on project being booked before we completed the works.
