Collard & Co were contracted as Principal Contractor for the M&E phase for a project to convert a site wide energy centre from hydrocarbon to biomass fuel.

The project represented a large investment for the client and had encountered significant operational problems prior to our appointment.

There were significant behavioural Health and Safety challenges associated with the contracting chain, many of whom were not UK domiciled and had varying levels of English.

Collard & Co embarked on a rapid intensive program of stabilisation of the project in order to carry out a reset of project relations and behavioural expectations.

This was a complex and challenging project, our efforts on which drew compliments from within the Client team such that we have been appointed to carry out the same role on a sister project.
